The Barstool Brothers was formed in 2019 in a Wollongong hospitality venue called His Boy Elroy by a group of hospitality staff that recognised an increasing number of regulars wanting to discuss their mental health across the bar.
The Barstool Project aims to train and educate employees in hospitality & tourism venues in mental health awareness and communication, with the aim of improving the baseline education and culture within licensed venues.
Through a range of monthly events, we bring together our community, educate, build relationships and work towards changing the culture within the hospitality industry around mental health of each other and the customers we serve.
